I'm gettin a Viper 671XV alarm fitted next week...
Does ne1 know much about them? Or if i have made a good choice?!?!

never heard of viper - thought cliffords were the inthing at the min.
I can recomend cobra alarms, never go wrong and is very well built. (when compaired to toads)

Apparantly viper aren't a uk make.. its the company gap security fittin it 4 me so it shud b alrite.. they are a brother company 2 clifford!

GAp Security are a pile of toss, they are franchised out, like powerflow and superchips etc, so some are really good and some are really toss, either that or they ahve certain enginerrs for certain areas, i forget whihc.
Either way i know the one that operates int eh coventry area is an absoloute pile of shit, would be better off going to a local, well respected compnay, word of mouth is SO much better advertising.

Sorry I canot be of more use, all I know is I hate alarms.
I'm sure it will be good for £400 quid. At the end of the day you get what you pay for, and if your paying that kinda money you would expect it to be good. But what is a good alarm really? They all do the same job really, but if someone wants your car badly enough they will get it anyway! Just a reasurrance really! :)
