iirc Prima did a 2.1 and 2.2 conversion... dunno anything about them though. Speak to BenR, you can deffo make them 2.1

think the most you could do without having a custom built bottom end is 2200. i was talking to benr about it many moons ago.... a fair bit of work involved tho iirc

the f7r is the f7p with long stroke pistons from the diesel in it, thats why its revs lower than the valver, the bottom end is the same, just more stroke length to give the extra .2 of a litre!!

i think its meant to be crank thats from a diesel...not so sure about the pistons tho.... think this has been brought up b4 and turned out to be a load of bollocks... could be wrong....

Not really a good idea to bore out larger than 2ltr as the headgasket becomes too thin between the pistons leading to them going prematurely.

iirc it's not "just a bored out 1.8" as the waterways etc are different iirc... similar yes, but not the same engine

same results could be from boring and stroking a 1.8, but for the cost of doing it, its not really a viable option.

taking the 2.0 out a little bit more..hmm......heard of a few.same results....all gone bang very quickly, or been shit and slow.

so its not worth it then?......

how much wud it cost , suppose it wud be best 2 have a rebuild at same time as well ? :-k

for the extra 60 cc or so, its not worth the money unless you go all the way to 2.2 with longer stroke yet. But then you need to do alot of work to recoupe the lsot r/s ratio.

mines got a 83.5mm bore, but that was to get a decent surface finnish as opposed to any gain in displacement
