just been told that the factorys closin down and its most likly that every1 will loose there jobs even if this other company decides 2 buy some of the assests!....

not all bad though...been meaning to get my self a new job 4 a few months, now im gona be without a job maybe ill step up my search 4 a new 1 :)

lol thats another shitter...only been here 11months end of dec! so i wont get fa! :cry:

If there laying off less then 100 they can do it as soon as they like. Over 100 and there obliged to serve you 90 days notice and give you time off for interviews, help build a cv etc.

no matt, i work 4 a company called Lander Carlisle, plastic injection moulding for the AUTOMOTIVE industry :roll:

we should have 2 serve 90 days if theres 20 or more people being layed off i think it is.....but thing is were not exactly bein layed off, the factory is closin down cuz weve been loosin money for 5 yrs! :shock: so im pretty sure they could declair them selfs bankrupt and lay us off asap!
