cannot recommend enough to change your gearbox oil if you are experiencing any diffculty with selection changes with your gearbox.got mine done at the weekend and it feels so smooth.It sorted out a second to third gear selection problem and an overall notchy feeling gearbox.Feels very good.

The Renault Stuff.
TRANSELf TRX 75W 80W.

Also done fuel filter and rocker cover gasket.Bounced her off the limiter all the way home :D

iv dun about 2500 on my new box, still feels stick and nochy though...reckon its worth changin my oil so soon?

Yeah i did mine and the car felt compleatly diff !

think is mine are stiff in 1st and 2nd when cold, but i only had a rebuild about 10-20k ago

My local Renault dealership claim that the TRX fluid they sell has been known to sort all manor of problems out, like whining diff, bad selection of gears.

It only comes in half litre bottles and i was told id need 7 of em, but only used 6 and its just overflowing? :?

there is different versions of the fluid, TRX/TRZ/TRP/TRJ etc
