I know someone who has one fitted to there car says it was a lot better.

also do these chips need to be soldered on or is it just a plug in type?

I want to get my car chipped but not sure what to go for, will any chip do or are there differences?

well the ebay advert says plug and play, so i guess thats what it is...

the ebay ones are not plug and play..in a sence.. u need a chip carrier 28pin (£1.50 ish from maplin) and a tv repair guy to solder it all in.

my chip will have safe rev limits and be half the price... awaiting blank eproms arriving..

currently have uprated maps for Williams 2.0l and 1.8 16v.

blanks will be here soon..ihope!

I thought Superchips and such set the 1.8 to 7700rpm or something.

yeah mines set at 7.5 also... i'l be reducing that to 7 soon.. lol

the chip holders are only 28p...ur being ripped! if u can rip a map of a chip Gibbo, i have the 2.0 big-valve eprom....

rite 13 blank eproms have arrived today,... just need to sort adapter out... then first batch will be ran off the line.

bout £25

1st batch will be out next week.

for the 2.0l hybrids

7.5k map for hybrids

or super map which is 7100k limit, ..that will be priced at £40 ish..the super map is mapped for cams and decat.. the 7.5 is mapped on a standard item.

mine is a 1991 non cat valver with a full s/s and i/k so im guessing standard for mine ??
