My renewal has just come up with elephant and it is going to be £990 tpft for the valver, however im thinking about upping it to fully comp and going to tell them about the exhaust and lowered, so this will bring it up a bit!

Anyway im after some good insurance companies to ring and i want,

fully comp,
to drive other peoples cars 3rd party,
to declare mods,

and think thats about it, so who's got some good quotes and reccomends me ringing them?

Cheers

Danny

P.s I've got 2 years no claims bonus!

HIC, Bell Direct. I'd have gone with HIC again but I needed business cover and they're not very good for that, charging another £200!

You won't be able to drive any other car third party unless you're over 25, full stop.

well a few of my mates can, so someone must do it, one of my mates owns a cossie, gets his dad to insure it for 300 then insures a escort 1.4 and drives the cossie!!!! with norwich union! another friend is with norwich union and she drives all her families cars 3rd party!!!

craig is with HIC and said he can drive other peoples cars 3rd party....so i think someone must be telling the truth!

yes but he'd be insured for the cossie on his dads insurance policy, not his own i think you will find.

I was looking into this a while ago and the answer I got was, its not possible anymore, I asked about 10 insurance companies... Churchill, Tesco, CIS, etc...

I just play Elephant and Bell Direct against each other every year even though they are both part of Admiral!

Admiral are the best, or so I found.

I play Elephant and Admiral against each other, even though there the same group.

Tesco, who I have used for 4 years now, want £580 (29yo 3y ncb).
However from Confused.com I have just got a quote of £396.99 (with only £50xs) with Norwich Union Direct (wonder if locals get it even cheaper - eh Stromba?). Guess I will be using them come renewal time!!
