Williamsclio is proud to announce that BB Tuning have selected www.williamsclio.co.uk as there official site to promote there new short throw shifter.

This is a great opportunity to grow williamsclio and form a strong bond with BB tuning. I hope this is the first of many product tests.

BB Tuning have recently released their new short throw gear shifter into the market place. Ideally suited for fast road use, there is no better site to advertise the new product than ours.

http://www.bbperformancetuning.co.uk/products/product.asp?id=74967

As always williamsclio strives to give you the best deals and most accurate product test reviews written by people who actually use them. Well this is no different – except you can help the club write its review for BB Tuning and williamsclio.

The competition will be open to everyone with Mk1 Clio.

To have your chance to test and review £176 pounds worth of kit from BB Tuning please add your name to the below list.

The names entered will be numerically numbered next over the coming week, and two official williamsclio representatives will draw a lottery live next Friday and the lucky winner will be randomly drawn.

Good luck

No.

Who ever wins the lottery will be posted the shifter at cost to the club.

You then fit it to your car for a few months, but as i said if BB want the shifter back or you / we feel the test has finished - the shifter ideally needs to be removed from the car within two weeks of the close of the test.

I think that to be honest the idea of testing something and then having to give it back does not appeal much. Lets be honest the idea of this is to promote this product and in offering a long term test, which hopefully results in good feedback will help encourage SALES. Given the relatively low price v the spec, would it not have been possible subject to the lucky winner providing a well constructed piece of feedback to let them keep it, or at the very least receive a very generous discount.

I think that forging good links with this company is an excellent idea for both parties....Well done Northy

that was the intention Nick. But unfortunalty i carnt afford to spend £180 on a shifter to give away as a club prize (i would love too given the chance though) and ive already exhausted all my options with BB to give the club one as a good will jesture.

At the min i can bargin for a discount from BB, but thats it. Ideally i wanted feedback from individuals to go with my own.

I only have one product to test and it can be fitted in 30mins. The test could last half a year but its decided when BB want the shifter back (hence the reason i said it may have to be within a 2 week lead time)

In the ideal world someone in the N/W would of come to my house to have it fitted but i wanted to encorage members from all around the world to have a go.

Basically its a try before you buy if you like.....

I know what your saying - but its so hard to get something now a days to promote the club and give away. This is as near as i can get. :D

Then the solution is simple!...fit it to your car....nobody deserves it more

Nice of you to put the offer out to the other Members...£180 is the same as £180,000 at the Mo....Haven't got either

Been in mine for a few weeks already nick, i tested it back to back at the donnington trackday with a B&M one.

So now its open to other club members for a limited time. (TBC)

I would recomend the BB tunning one over the B&M every time.

Still not the best feel into 5th - but miles better made and a northy recomendation.

The shifter is now in my cup racer.

what about excess movement does it cut it down a bit or eliminate it alltogether ?

northy
27-11-2006, 08:38
there shouldnt be exsess movement in the first place mate - sounds like you need to chnage your dogbone mount.

Just looked on the link and it says this product is unavailable :?

28-01-2007, 21:29
Hows this different from the B&M one fitment wise?

I could get one into my R5 couldn't i?

northy
29-01-2007, 09:07
Richy won eventually as he was one of the people who could remove if BB wanted it back.

The shifter is now in my cup race car - the B&M is the lottery tester.

They fit exactly the same mate - the BB is alot better imo.
