Keys and standard alarm

Hi,

can i just check.. is the imobiliser key for the glove box supposed to be different from the one that is used to disable the alarm underneath the footwell ?

because mine doesn't fit and my alarm is turned off, and i'd quite like to turn it on lol.

Yes they are different.

U should have one in the glove box (immobiliser), one in the passenger side footwell next to the fusebox (Alarm I think)and one under the bonnet on the siren (Alarm).

looks like im going to try and have to buy a new key from some where then :(

im thinking about writing to the previous owners of the car seeing if they have it?
