noipe, standard would be an upgrade on what I had! ****ed brakes were the order of the day... lasted about 10 laps if that before overheating and fading... then the pedal pretty much hitting the floor... :roll: :lol:

haha, yeah, was my first time EVER out on track and I was shitting it because the brakes had gone really vague... not really ideal for a novice... 2 live doesn't believe in brakes though... might be why he's on his 6th gearbox and i'm only on my 2nd (okay, it's a bit fooked, but it still works... just!).

LOL, hope 2 live doesn't read that mate!!! TBH I think he was much quicker, it's just I was in the dry and all his laps are in the pissing wet, but as the vid quality has been captured so low it's very difficult to tell hehe... damn, I should have kept quiet thinking about it! hehe

lol im yet to experience a track day...was very tempted to go on at Trax but knowing my luck something would break lol. 2live did pass alot of things but he didnt seem to give it as much stick as you did lol.
Ive never been on track tho...but i brake hard and late on private roads....

lol....was also takin it easy ish..as 1. it was jesus' car, and 2 he hadnt been out on track in it yet so i dint wanna wrap it up b4 he got a chance to........oh and it was a bit wet lol



cant fault jesus' commitment tho for 1st timer hehe......twas on ly my 2nd track day also, so both virgins really.....spesh on that track, we both had same experience of.



i think jesus was bein a bit of a pussy where the brakes were concerned tho...i drove it home ok lol.....

Platsy, just got decat, stainless system, AWT cams and that's all that's on at the moment... although on that day we were using 2 lives chip wizards map which gave some much needed corrective fueling and it was miles better... oh and rev'd 700+rpm higher :D

I know how 2 live drives from being in the car with him and on the road at the same time as him and we've driven each others cars plenty of times before, so there is a mutual trust there... he's not as bad as his rep suggests... i'd say more of a controlled nut case lol. Yoz drove it too, think everyone enjoyed driving it tbh lol

I don't think even an "on it" Northy would have kept up on track, even if he cornered faster the sheer power on the straights would have kept the advantage on the Willy 2's side... it was wreckless that day, we scalped a full fat 182 cup on the way back with 4 wheels, 4 tyres, and extra passenger and a load of luggage... 2 live even got carried away and thought he was in his car, as he gave the poor lad a head start... lol

Thats true mate. I was driving when yoz was driving yours jon, and after two corners i couldnt keep up. After 4 laps the car was a half way down the pit straights on me.

Plus i was testing the shifters - so they took some getting used to.

But it didnt half look good when i saw yoz doing his stuff !

hehe, yup, was great fun that, if not a little scary when we went grass tracking at 80mph... down into 3rd and it pulled out of it fantastically... thankfully lol.

no spins and according to Stromba no 3 wheel action from my car either... if true I'd like to think the correct lines were being adhered to... however i'll get pics of the side walls and you guys can decide for yourself... the PE2 indents have been smoothed off... i'd say thats a good indication of it being driven on the edge hehe
