was just wounder what bhp peoples clios r puuting out...
mine 145atw 170fly.
More importantly, how does it feel mate? You happy with the results?

Can't really compare figures from different rollers, we need to all get together and have a group session.

how does it feel.... 1st no traction , 2nd crazy torque steer ,3rd,4th and 5th just keeps on pulling and thats with 17's on, not put the 15's on yet. would have no problem hitting the limiter in 5th. took it on my private test track and was shocked how quick it pulled from 100-120 in 5th, felt like i was in 3rd with the 1.8. im very very happy with what nicks done. ss manifold next.....
jay, 15's will make a nice difference!
When i had 17's on yers back it killed accelleration and handling! 15's are LOOOOOADS better :D

My last go was 157 ATW and 160lb/ft

i think the white beast was 180odd@wheels, which was 216@fly with 170ft/lbs torque :)
think my last run was 139 bhp and 121 lb/ft @ the wheels.

i had the misses handbag in not to mention teh verbal limiter kicking in and i was 2 bussy looking at the mileage going up and trying to wipe the tears away ....
and northys exscuse he had 2 handbags in his birds and his own
PMSL, yeah the verbal limiter will always kick in before the mechanical one...
to be fair Richy did have some handbags in his car, also the vidal sasoon hair dryer and makeup kit in the boot wont have helped... :lol:

lol, i blame your kid... proper bad influence... never knew what the rev limiter was for until i met him! now everytime we go out it's not been meet if we aint bounced it off the limiter in 5th at least a couple of times... always a good comparison though, as when standard (well, I was practically standard, Rich claimed to be standard... with stainless everything :roll: lol) we were always dead even. Cams = more torque though :P

To be fair I think the Fly readings at Powerzone were high...I got 192bhp from 151 atw....I think the old formula of adding 10bhp to you`re wheels then divide by .9 is not far off. Using this both kev and steves std 172 figures of 144 (171 atf) was pretty accurate...My last rr was 157 atw which comes to about 185 which can`t be too far off really

No idea what power mine is...I'd guess at around 165-170 bhp....

tbh there's no reason why when mapped it wont do a very very low 14 if not maybe dip into the 13's. i can launch a car so i'm confident it will do the business 8)

The only truely rapid williams I have seen is 2lives....and that never cracked 13 even with Jon's ace launches.

Will it need running in though?
150 at the wheels (supposidly) which is is between 160 and 210 depends who's figures you use to find out fly.
Going by Yozzas car with 170 ATW and 225 at the fly (test realy at the fly. it would mean mines about 200hp.
another car on CS has 167@wheels, and thats apparently 222@fly
but mines 180odd@wheels and only 216@fly!
guessing more tranny loss in the mk2's

wen the minis done i can make another start on the willy hehe....altho by then i mite not be the 1st sub 14 sec willy. oh well
120 at the wheels on the last RE performance day and using chris n nic's formula it equates to about 145 at the fly, not bad.
1/4 miled in a 15.7 on my first go but the previous owner has had a 15.4 and so thats my time to beat!
So whens the next rr day then?

i new figures for ny car now 1 year down the line and 7 grand lighter the car put out 168@wheels and 195 at tyhe fly
