16v and willy alternator

okay as far as i know there different but why is this? will a 16v alternator fit on a williams?

and afaik they are the same :lol: same part number at gsf/euro parts. dont wanna sell him something that aint gonna fit so can someone clear it up for us please :D

as far as i can remember they are the same size, u might be able to get higher output versions but i think the fitting is same, i think it was the starter was different size, iirc that is

ive heard the williams is smaller, i read that ppl doin williams conversions from valvers needed an alternator with them being different

when u do a conversion u need the williams starter for sure, not the alternator!

when i got my alternator from GSF i had them fetch it to work(renault) to compare with a genuine unit, it was excactly the same inc make! just £100+ less!!!!!
