Just got car back from having a full cam belt and tensioner etc done - what a difference -- the engine sonds great -- and allot less noise -- both tensioner and pulley were on the edge of blowing the engine up, would rec to anyone to have it done -- car is on 102k miles - and when i looked at both tensioner and pulley that they took out, makes you realise how important it is to keep them good, i reckon this is the second time they have been completely changed in the cars life.

They want doing every 36k as a rule of thumb; or every 5 years!
When tensioners go its a fooking nightmare, ive seen some right engine damage in the past due to it...
not on my own cars tho!
really need to get mine done :?
last time was 70k ago lol... oh well
ooooo i've got about 22k left on mine then!

Wouldn't you rather sell the engine on instead of scrapping it?

I had a full cam belt kit fitted. Very imortant imo :D
didnt think it was as early as 36k, though it was 50k
mines done about 28k now and the cambelt still looks in good condition

Had mine done about 1k back... complete difference. It's been changed at correct intervals throughout its life so the history says :D

Yeah 72k or every 5 years, whichever is soonest. But I always thought it best to go 36k intervals after the 1st change. And you do hear of belts snapping before 72k. And for £137 fitted by many of the Renault specialists would rather pay that every 3 years than risk it.
That's why my new engine is going in instead as can put that money towards cost of new engine :D

WERE DID YOU GET THAT PRICE FROM?
MINE COST 235 LAST TIME
BB did mine at 72k for that, think Ktec also charge that plus VAT. And not sure if tensioners are included so could be more. Did have cliosport discount too.
