was just wandering does anyone know where and in which factory the williams was manufactured in?

doubt it. lets face it, the williams would have been put together in the cheapest place for reno at the time, and the "extras" which went on to the williams were hardly that special or technical either, i.e. nothing that would warrant anyone other than ur average mechanic/machine to put it together.

from the vin plate in the engine bay you should be able to tell where(which factory) and when your williams was manufactured in.
can anyone decipher the code?tenner for anyone who can?

So would i be correct in saying that the valvers and all other clios came from someplace else?like turkey,poland,china! :lol: :P

nope, all the clio panels would be pressed out at various plants then assembled - they then prob shipped a certain number of shells to the alpine factory for some willy treatment

Well i imagined they did share the same parts bin as the other clios however it would be fair to say that all the Williams were born and rolled out together in the same alpine factory.
