Evening guys. I know i keep saying this but i really am very near to getting the motor started.

I have

a) New box fitted
b) New Clutch Fitted
c) New Cambelt etc fitted
d) New Aux belt fitted
e) New Power steering Pump fitted
f) Engine and box Fitted
g) Hoses connected
h) Water / Oil / Powersteering fluid filled
i) Electrical connections fitted....bar

...one that i cannot find out where it goes. I have some pics to explain it a little better. Basically its a metre and a bit long cable with flexy plastic hosing protecting it, with another connector on it sprouting off in another direction (female type). I recall pulling it up and out from the drivers side wheel arch - which was fookin ages ago and now cant remember if it was connected to anything else...

Pic (1) This is where the cable originated from. Under drivers wheelarch.

Picture (2) This is the main connector on the cable out of a possible two.

Pitcure (3) This pic shows the main connector and the other connector further down the cable. At this point im not too sure what it connects to.

Picture (4) This is a blow up of the secondary connector (the smaller one)

Picture (5) This is what the connector looks like

Picture (6) Another pic of the cable and how the connectors are positioned

Picture (7) After looking around i find a male connector tied into the inner wing on the passenger side, just by the relay box and the smaller connector fits it.

http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b365/geoffclement/willyplug7.jpg

Picture 8 Another close up pic of the smaller connector fitting into the male socket by the relay box. The thing is now, whether this is (A) the correct place to fit this and (B) if it is, where do i trunk the rest of the cable....

Answers on a postcard..

I know this is a longwinded attempt at trying to describe it...but i hear a picture paints a thousand words...so technically this is my thesis on where the FOOK does this connector thingy go!!

Oh and sorry about the white ringing of the objects. Did one, and got carried away!!

Big thank you to the person who tells me quickest, oh and a pint to be bought for when i make my first meet!! :D

Hi Coops,

Well im thinking then that this may be it. Not sure. I guess i'll wait for some others to say if this is it or not. Its definately long enough to go from one side to the other. Where its meant to be routed i dont know.

Cheers

It's not something to do with the charcoal canister is it?

Don't really know, but it is down in that sort of area.

It's either the loom for the side repeater or the foglights.

if it can be removed off the loom it'll be the fogs as mattheus brown said.
