Had some stuff out, some thought I'd get the scales out. Sad I know :P

Parcel shelf - 4.5kg
Rear bench (both parts) - 14kg
Boot carpet - 4kg
Spare wheel (steelie) - 19kg
Wheel cage - 2kg
Also, a full tank of fuel should weigh roughly 50kg.

Put it all back in because it's frickin' loud without that stuff, and I haven't found anywhere to put it yet anyway.

Haven't really decided what the weight lose over the rear does for handling, but I can't say it's ever felt like it's going to throw me in a bush when it's all out. Famous last words.... :?

It has the suit holder thingy which would add more weight over a normal parcel shelf

Well, you saw how much I removed Matt, at Haynes and I didn't lose the back once.

I may have still had the spare on though, can't remember.

i dont have any interior except bucket seats and dash and not had any problems with it, i spun twice in total both in wet ! out of 3trackdays so far!! :)

btw u need to take the floor carpets out and sponging below that the stuff behind dash! if the boot carpet was 4kg theres a good 10kg+ to shift with them alone!

i know the front seats were quite heavy compared to me bucket seats, was a job getting them into loft on me own lol, add all panels and sponging behind dash/under carpets i reckon a decent amount has gone

I reckon mine might dip under 900kgs at the mo still got...windows to go in, e/w to come out and p/s to come out manual rack to go in and bonnet swap still to do.

Strange thing is when i had rear seats in mine, the back end was a bit more tail happy

martin - you should defo be under 900kgs!! Especially with the way you run your cars - on petrol vapours!! LOL :wink:
