Absolutely nothing to do with the williams, but I'd thought I'd post up the recent transformations of the rx-7 just for a change in scenery ....

Its been awesome fun 'modding' the car - even a complete mechanical dimwit like me can get involved and make a positive difference (following a few negative ones to start with)

Its all starting to come together now as you can see :D

Unfortunately the next performance upgrade means i have to sell a kidney, but thats something to ponder about for a while ...

Here is a list of the mods that have been done since the new engine went in:

Momo race steering wheel and gear knob
Blitz oil & water temp & boost gauge
Apexi power fc ecu, tuned at re:worx
refurbed Arc induction kit
17" mazdaspeed split rims dressed in carbon fibre
Feed spoiler
Mazda splitter
Clear indicators/reflectors
Iridium spark plugs

Although I miss the williams, this car is a good move should any of you guys be wanted to move up a league in performance, which is great for the money.

lol...my mates has cost him a fortune now

9k purchase price
5k engine rebuild
and it drinks petrol like a fighter jet.

Tis a lovely car though - but too expensive for my tastes.

Nicest looking cars to come out of Japan. Well, joint first with the NSX.

£9k - very expensive, esp without engine rebuild!
£5k - very expensive for an engine rebuild! (sounds like you mate had a tough time, very good looking example though!)

as for the last point .... could not be more right
