in total i have 4 1 of which is my amp....

my m8s got 5 though on his valver :?

Standard is 1 to the negative and 2 to the positive.

That is including alarm. The number are based on the number of terminals that need attaching to the battery, and not the actual number of wires. As the main positive connector is made from two wires, one from alternator, and one from starter motor...

or it is on mine..

I've only got 4, 3 to positive and 1 to negative....

Think i've got 3 on the positive. 1 is a big flat rectangluar shape, one is a big round one and one is a small round one. I've also got the amp power lead. Negative is just one of those screw fittings and its got 2 earths off it.

Yeah thats what I said Harris, I've got the same as clowo16v (or Matt)... he said 3 to positive.

I haven't got my amp leading running there no more as well...

2to negative and 2 to posative, one of those is the permanant live feed for the sat nav/fag lighter
