I was telling my older brother the other day about getting a Clio Williams, and he said that they are not that fast because, his mate has a 1.4 106 XSi with exhaust, cammed and head work, and aparently when he raced a williams, it could not get away from him.
After hearing this I am now thinking that the supposed "Williams" must have either being not pushed, at all, or was a replica made from a 1.4 or something like that cause there is no way that a crappy 106 XSI, well this one is crappy, with a max power output of 110bhp could keep up with a 2 litre, 16valve, 150+bhp monster that is the williams.
