After lots of arguing etc i've finally accepted a offer on my car. £3700 and i've bought my car back for £550 (15% salvage value) £2100 will get the bodywork sorted and 1 wheel needs refurbing where it got scuffed in crash, wether lepsons have a standard williams gold (they refurbed them not long ago) or i'll have to get all 4 refurbed remains to be seen. Still means I can get a few go faster bits with the money left over. Stainless fanimold here I come. :D

They sent 3 independant engineers to look at condition of car. All agreed it was immaculate and all agreed to pay top money possible, showed receipt from May this year for £3900 so they agreed to pay £3700 up from initial offer of £2400.

Bugger me, that's a good pay out. Fair price, but to get that from an insurer is good! Well done mate 8)

Well done Matey.....had a similar situation when my GTE 16v was stolen, the initial offer was pants. They eventually sent an inspecter to our house, he was a former Policeman. He studied all the receipts and countless photo's my ex had taken. After looking at our evidence and listening to us, he recommended to the insurance company to pay full book....You had your car as evidence.......guys keep those photos and receipts!
