When my clutch is dropped it makes a rattling noise, not in quick changes, but say if i drop it to pull off in 1st i can hear a kind of rattling more than a knocking sound. As soon as clutch is released its fine...it's been doing it for a while but noises like that are never good in valvers.

Im sure its more expense so please give it to me gently!

Not sure about noises but how heavy is clutch? Have you snapped any cables yet? How many miles you done?

Woudl get it looked at as got to be cheaper getting it done than perhaps breaking down because of it.

My local garage did clutch and cable for 150 quid cash in hand with me supplying parts I got from GSP so call it 200 quid total. Thats with subframe out so if you need to get it done shop around as you will get some astronomical quotes.

clutch release bearing... my 306 is doing it... as far as i can remember it doesn't really matter, fix it when you get clutch done next time.
