One of my main beam bulbs went last night, i was using an 100watt ring bulb, seemed to work quite well and had a nice whitish blueish light!

However do i get another set at about £20 or go for some standard reno ones?

I think the reno ones are about the same price?

Are there any other makes people recommed too?

Cheers

Danny

www.powerbulbs.co.uk for all your lighting needs, you'll also get a free set of philips blue sidelights, they aren't actually blue, they just operate at 4000kelvin, so are v good and dont look gay yellow.

On that site you should see a selection of Osram and Philips.

I just recently got myself a set of Osram Cool Blue's... They run at 4000kelvin so give a very white/slightly blue HID effect to oncoming cars. Its pretty much as close to HID as you'll get from H4 bulbs. They are also 30% (75 meters) brighter than standard.

Or you could go for the super white jobbies which are 50% brighter (100 meters), but you dont have the HID effect.

Either the Osram or Philips are very good.

Also I received mine through the post the next day. V good service.

No problems with melting wiring etc then on the more powerful bulbs?
