heeated wing mirrors... anyone know lots about em?

Passenger one works the drivers one doesn't

now what actually heats up - is it the glass? something behind? I want to fix it as it was dead handy last year in the winter months..

if I bought a new pane of glass would that fix it ect etc...

if you take the mirror glass out there's 2 wires attached to it, so i'd say the glass gets heated

Yeah, thats right, could be the glass heater thats faulty or might just be a wire come off.

All 16v/Willy electric mirrors are heated, comes on with the rear screen.
