Just got a Williams3 and very happy . . . but I was wondering if you guys could help me please?

Can you tell me how to get at the starter motor and replace it? Is it an easy job? I know there is no Hayne's manual for the Williams but is there a similar one that might help.

Many thanks, have been checking out this site and am well impressed so keep up the good work!

the haynes manual will be fine for the engine mate as its the same to look at as an F7p engine so its in there;)

OK cool thanks - but which Haynes manual exactly? Is it the 1991 - 1998 Petrol manual?

You in Sheffield? - me too, not seen many Willys here!

Many many thanks

yup, that's the one you need, it basically covers the MK1 and all three of it's phases. There are some slight differences, like the extra bolt that they dont mention when changing your alty, but for the most part it's almost 100%... starters not a nice job iirc, manifold and downpipe off for sure?
