steering problem - mrk 1

at standstill rocking the steering wheel all is fine, no play that i can tell, pull off and the steering wheel looks to settle just off centre to the right... build up speed and it goes way over to the left... car seems to tramline LOADS all over the road, to the point where on a motorway that swept to the right then left, i hardly touched or mooved the wheel and it stayed in lane and took the corners....

when u hit the brakes the wheel centres...

its scary to drive lol... im thinking lower arm bushes ??? any other ideas or tests ?

obvious ones, check tyre pressures and if your tracking is out ???

mine gets a bit funny like that sometimes but moreso when accelerating and a bit under braking

Only thing i can think of is tyre pressures, presume you ahve checked those

Wouldn't be anything to do with the rack would it?
