Fitted new rear discs, pads and bearings one year ago.

Lowered the car 9 months ago (45mm rear) and the rear pads have disappeared.

Is it this valve that makes the car think there is loads of weight in, so unnessesary over braking is occuring at the rear; proving the pads to have gone??

Checked haynes manual to adjust the valve, but it says refer to renault dealers only as specialist equipment?????

Any help much appreciated.

Darren

Bias valve, had a few issues in my old 106s with these. on the clio 16v its located next to the backbox/spair wheel. assuming its like the 106 one u either slacken or tighten the bolt to gain more or less.

The Renault Clio Williams manual tells you how to do it have a look for posts about it on here people has put it up somewhere so you can download it.

I think that you screw the thing up to reduce back brake pressure.

However the Williams manaul tells you what to do to check and adjust the pressures.

Yeah screw the valve in to reduce pressure, spent ages playing at donnington to get teh right pressure, and then my MOT tester goes and moves it, says its failed on it cus its not free moving
