I take it the new exhaust has come with the clamp for mid to rear section ?

Then you will need a few spanners 13mm / 14mm normally.

A set of replacement bolts and nuts for the cat to mid section as they will have probally rusted up solid over time and will need to be cut off.

Other than that its a new cat to mid section gasket from reno and check that all the rubber hangers are good and not broken.

Yep thats all you need, although you may as well get some new rubber hangers while your at it mate.

Exhaust gaskets for cat are same front and back as well. Not different as some numpty tried to tell me at Renault.

buy some fire gum to join the seals and use about 3 jacks.

2 to hold the car up and one to raise the midsection while your tightening it all up.

what you do is firstly take your old system off, dont cut it as if you sell the car you can put it back to std and sell the exhaust, then attach the decat to the middle section i then put on the back box and then joined the mid section to it, dont attach any of the rubbers and dont attach the clamp.
get it all lined up, find the downpipe and line up the decat with it, put in the bolts and tighten it up loosly, the get the spare jack and raise the bend, tighten up the downpipe so its on, then attach the passenger side rubber mount, make sure the back box is straight and attach the backbox rubbers, then attach the clamp. I didnt do mine in this order and my backbox aint straight!
tips, get some imperial spanners namley the half inch size, one socket and spanner, if you use 13mm socket it will just round off the nut, also alot of WD40 on the old bolts as they will snap. they have to be coaxed out slowly or my mate at top gear done my bro's 19 16v magnex fitting for £30, although they have sold the place in hayes and the nearest are st Albans or battersea, but he will do it for £30, Pm me for his number. I will see what the missus has planned for sunday I might be able to come down and give you a hand. Although its not hard it is a bit fiddly but you get a great satisfaction when its done!
