Previous owner of my Willy 3 used blue hamerite on sections under the bonnet. Even painted over surface rust even the ID plate. Anyway I am about to remove the ferking stuff....and will be removing all the bolts that hold the wings on and bolts just above the headlamps and either paint them again or fit new cadium plated bolts....

question guys.... are the nuts under these bolts captive ones. Dont fancy undoing bolts to find bits fall out under me.

Cheers

They are clips around the inner wing IIRC, nothing will fall out.

Buy new ones from Renault, they SHOULD be silver, rather then blue

Ones of the things I like about this place ...is the banter.
