Load of nice cars in that garage. What is it with green though?
Have you kept to the Williams connecting rods or have you changed to the supposidly better 172 ones?
Very nice spec though any idea when its going to be ready?
Whats sort of RPM is that spec reasonably safe for for track use?

i think ud be quite surprised.. :wink:

stan

yep taking my time indeed!!

green is a classic colour for Caterhams (in the forground) and the Evante is just a coincidence. none of the Nobles/Atoms are green!!!

main limiting factor of the max rpm will be the cams, and to a lesser extent the valvegear. this *may* be sorted in a few months when im feeling flush...

I know i'm being really thick, but is the only advantage of forged pistons is that they can safley go to higher RPM's

stan
23-10-2005, 20:46
can resist higher cylinder pressure=more torque

can be made to increase CR

lighter=higher achievable max rpm

nice stan!

Oh, and dont forget to check the vernier clearance against the cambelt cover, the bolts on the catcam ones tend to rub on them ALOT.

stan
