is a supersprint a worthwhile mod? 4-2-1 vs 4-1 design do u lose any top end by using the supersprint while gaining low down torque? what are the opinions of the people who have had them fitted?

for the money mate, stick with the F7P manifold!

the supersprint is nice, but it doesnt give much if anything in terms of performance!

i did with mine craig... my 2l seemed to hit a brick wall at high speed when i had my valver manifold on... the supersprint changed the sound of my car, and now it revs freely and without any restriction....ie it carries on pulling...dunno why it made a dif on mine... strange

aparently ktecs manifold is exactly the same as a supersprint and ive ordered the ktec one so ill let you know what thats like!
I agree with top end it does seem to hit a brick wall. when i put my foot down at 80 it seems to be sluggish, that could be because of CAT tho.
Ive got viper IK, decat and ktec manifold to go on this weekend.

it *IS* the supersprint manifold... not rebranded or anything. has the ss plaque on etc.

worth the money? hell yeah... you will notice good top end improvement. 70-90 in 5th is a doddle and gets there a lot quicker than before (i have noticed anyway)

So the valver is a 4-2-1 manifold, and the williams is a 4-1, or do i ahve that the wrong way around?

valver is 4-2-1, mine came this mornin with all fittings and everything, for a valver but using it on a willy engine :D looks very smart it does especially next to an unsilenced decat pipe! hehe

lol which part? the decat flange doesnt mate up with the downpipe flange from the manifold.....anything else i should know before i take it to be fitted?

You need a de-cat for a valver, and it will be sorted, williams cat is at 45 degrees, valver at 90 degrees, will also need a valver cat for mot

ive got all that so its sorted then :) just needs whacking on now! think ill sickie for work tomorow and get it fitted and go for a play lol
