My bank balance is taking a battering with this car but I can't stop till I run a 13 sec qtr on stnd cams lol..
Just ordered a full set of poly carb windows with sliders on teh front and rear screen! :twisted:

aye just need scott to pull his finger out :wink: and get these fibreglass bonnets & tailgates sorted then it will be getting down towards 850kg.. :)

Did'nt go for the cheapest really you can get a full set for 150 plus carriage but I went for sliders in the front boths sides (£40) and original shaped rear screen (extra£20)... Plastics4performance very helpfull and 10 days-14 day turnaround ain't too bad.

yeh thats them i spoke to!

they said they did a high quality set thats virtually same as normal and front windows go up and down as normal for £280, or just the rear 3 for £180odd or some bugget flat ones even cheaper for the full set!

did they say the weight loss mate??

Martin Willwoods etc are lighter than stock brakes so there a good upgrade then ditch the second fuel tank and pump for more weight saving and swop to drums at the back as I'm sure there lighter (or probably better at stopping the car on a hill).
How much are the windows costing you?

Just over 200 notes for the 5 windows with sliders on the front edde..not too bad.

Prolly being really thick here, but if you have sliders doesn't that mean anyone can just slide open the window and open the car, and erm steal it?

All the heater matrix is now removed, this was last week.....we have now removed plenty more.

Thats looks sweet where are all the wires going and where are all the switches off the dash? Would love to gut mine...but would have to sort some kind of heated front screen if I was ditching the heater...

Wires are gonna get sorted so it looks tidy, all the dash switches are gone.....only really need the hazards which he has kept only cause there on a loop to work the normal indicators..... :twisted:

Also removed all the heater equipment under the scuttle panel.
