I knew early ones had more orangey lenses!

Tempted by that one given mine's just failed it's MOT horribly, but that looks like it could get pricey. A few "issues" as well.

there are two 1.1's around wigan on a H reg with them.

Are you after a pair for yours mate ?

This a nice car the white one - had a look when it came on ebay yesterday.

Everyone seemed to think the valvers came out when teh orange lenses had been phased out.

Yes I want some orange lenses! :P Maybe save up next year to get a new front bumper with new yellow fogs and orange lenses. Will also get some 16v badging as per the early ones and an early Renault diamon for the bonnet.

Given mine's going to cost at least £600 notes to fix I was seriously thinking about putting in a bid on that one, but there's a few things that seems alittle dodgy and it's not cheap for an old valver.

yer it looks like a clean one, however i'd be interested to see if the milage works out considering he's using williams dials!!!!

Exactly Danny. Then there's the chassis number business. Seems a trifle odd. If buying you'd certainly want to get Renault's opinion on that.

Lol...well i'd say 99% of early valvers ive seen had standard indicators - but i see H reg 1.1's with them on daily.

As for the white valver - ask to see the files and history - be a good car to own mate.

nice to have a little story to tell.

£600 - get it fixed mate. Once its done - its done.

Oh it's being done. Probably won't see it 'til next week now though. I've been without it about 7 weeks in total now! While the Xsara makes a pretty good replacement it's just not the same.
