bought a pair of headlight protectors of scotty(bighp) opened the box to find this! :cry: guess im destined to never own a pair of headlight protectors! :evil: why cant royal mail take care of peoples stuff instead of kicking it around the warehouse! im so pissed off!!!!!

I know that 1st class recorded delivery is covered up to £30. Ive just got back from the post office lol.

Unlucky mate. Id try and claim some cash back if you can. :evil:

nah dont worry mate i will get them to pay they are the culprits! its not the first time ive had this happen to me by them! what pisses me off more is that i was so desperate for a pair of them! that hurts more than the dosh i spent on them! guess i could drive round with just the one on! lol

scott, do u have the proof of posting?? If you do you can claim back up to £30 like sumone said before. You need a claim sheet from the post office, but scott needs to do it not fatboy! And send a copy of the proof of posting NOT the actual certificate as they WILL lose it. I deal with this kind of stuff all the time, scott will then recieve the money back after a week or so

It dont matter, you do not get any more protection sending recorded delivery only special.

All 1st class and recorded delivery items are covered upto and including £28

Bighp needs to do complete this small form and then claim for compensation at the bottom of the page.

Im having to go throu the same thing Fatboy, I received a carbon boot strip for my RT but it came in 9 different pieces lol

even if the amount you paid for them is more than the covered insurance, put the amount you paid for them on the form

i got the full amount back before off RM
