Prolly. That's why I got the 2500s

Lunner
12-10-2005, 15:15
Would this be why they are so cheap then

Lunner
12-10-2005, 15:19
This is an interesting point on their website.......15000 mile / 12 month guarantee

Wonder if that counts as 15k round the track

dannyt
12-10-2005, 15:21

Lunner
12-10-2005, 16:12
i did look, but could find **** all useful inofr on their website, desn't even list differnt types,a nd doesn't mention them by number

2500 are a bit more serious. 3000 are proper track pads but I don't think Brun (or anyone I know of in fact) rates them.

£57.88 from motorsportworld.

BRUN

mine havent come yet !

i only got em cos there cheap and im a big fan of ferodo pads, the STANDARD ferodo pads (heavily worn) that i removed from the car brake better than these Pagids

though i did have Tarox G88 discs and now have Brembo Max

Mine arrived this evening, good job, my o/s caliper is slightly sticking and hence getting hot and wearing the pad, not sticking enough to be a massive problem, but will get it changed when i coolect some more calipers next week

BRUN

guess mine should come tomorrow then

These are a really good pad.....they are the "older model" hence they are cheaper than the 2500

Eh? 2500s are different pads. I think the 2000s have been renamed as just DS Performance though.

FlamingMonkey

Gonna fit mine soon as I reckon, good price for branded pads, still not as cheap as they bargain bin ones I usually get...lol

BRUN
20-10-2005, 01:13
as above, the DS2000 pads are not just older 2500 pads, they are a different compound

2500 is a pad more suited to bigger heavier cars, or more proper track use than the 2000 pad

plus if these 2000's are what the DS Performance pads are, ill be happy once ive fitted em, ive had those before and they were brilliant

doubt it...

some of the BTCC cars use, or used to use, the 2000 compound so i cant see it being a problem with a Clio
