wots this in my fog lights?

it is the inner silver reflective coating peeling away from its backing. Can't fix it with cleaning as you will need to remove the glass which is bonded in. Best thing to do is get a new set.

Happens with age and the heat of the bulbs over time. Sorry mate everybody goes through it at some stage.

my left one is the same, and neither work, but it passed the m.o.t. like this, i thought they had to be working to pass but obviously not :?

Don't think theya ctually tes the fogs, but the rule is if they are on the ar they ahve to be working, ie lighting up, you can't have them on the cra and disconnected for some fubared reason

mine are totaly peeled with no silver stuff on :) but then they match the rest of the car ;)
