View Full Version : HELP NORTHY AND THE CLUB FUND
i think i'd like to help Richy out by making a contribution as he's fronting all the costs for the club and I'd not want to see him have to sell his car to fund a club that would then be pointless to him! lol
membership imo is too cheap for a start, but who'd be willing to put something into the pot to help the club out, i dont think it's fair one person paying for everything... who's with me?
its not that bad jon, membership moneys are coming in - but i need membership cards doing asap.
members signing up who dont do forums - need evidence of there membership so this is now a high priority.

Brun, best way is via internet banking, just wire the money over to Richy pal.
Northy, make a membership area and pin a topic for a list of paid members (both forum members and non forum members) before it becomes impossible to track who's paid what for what buddy.
May be worth sorting out a seperate club bank account to put all monies and donations into as well. that way you dont have to worry as much about it.
on a side note 34 views a little in the way of a response... I take it most of our users are from Yorkshire then? :lol: (runs and hides)

Currently out of work and flat broke and I mean flat broke.....still have not received money for my car although I have been told probably before Christmas :shock: As soon as our house is sold and I have some Wonga, likewise I will be happy to contribute.....PS I am from Dorset is that near Yorkshire :lol:

Im leaving it at a £5er for now as i dont have any membership cards to issue out.
Membership details are on the homepage and linked to my paypal account.
One thing i do ask though - if you pay to become a member - can you include your user name on the forum please as its impossible work of just your email address.
When i get a pc at wigan its going to be better, and will be able to get set up propally.

Lets face it ...a fiver for the service you get here is well worth it..damned cheap if I say so. This site with all the hints/tips and advice saves anyone with a willy a load of dosh. Not only that its good for all the news...banter and so on.
I for one would be quite happy to pay more for membership. This is not a charity...and the team that run this website/forum should not be out of pocket.
Can I suggest then that when membership is due we raise the fee to £15 each.

iv kno weve all had this discusion b4....but y not 4get about the membership cards? im sure people wont mind?....i never got 1 and tbh iv never really misd not having 1!....
as for club discounts etc.....you could provide a unique code for each person or just 1 code 4 the club which we have 2 quote when using club discount!

well ive been sending out letters to new members - but alot of members do not use the forum and need a card for discount and something to show their registration if you get me.
Do what Cliosport does, print it on a bit of paper and laminate it
