Wafer thin Pads anyone? lol
**** me lol...........holey
Took 2live's and Northy's best efforts with a hammer to seperate that holey pad and the caliper piston.
And I was told that the pads had 25% left in them before the track day
Imagine how much faster u could have gone with brakes.....scares me just thinking about it....

Ah ha....that's all in hand
I'm deffo going for 4 pots once my wallet has recovered....you investing Zollo?
Well after yesterday I'd say there well worth the dosh, was well impressed....even though I probably didn't brake as hard as some I had no break fade at all.....if I stabbed the pedal the ****er would stop..... :D
i had no problems with my wilwoods, was doing 10/15 laps at a time and not a drop of brake fade even when coming down from 110 on the back straight!
lol - so glad you slowed down when you "thought" something was wrong, only to realise later you had no brakes!!!

Yes mate, spoke to Mark this afternoon and I should (may be, just may be  ) have them by the end of the week as he has a set in stock. I need new calipers, discs and pads now anyway, so thought may as well!
Going for the standard size discs with the Poly E pads.
Damn this club and its continual temptations to the dark side. And I swore I'd not modify this car
bloody helllllll..... never seen them that bad....
class - glad i came out with you when i did.
never expected them to be so bad.
u best not get them 4 pots fitted before me !
modding is the best way to improve a williams - them brakes of yours before they melted were GREAT ! couldnt belive on the power of them.
but u need to get that cat and exhaust sorted - Dont fit the standard one - get a custom made stainless steel one !
wait till u come out in mine again mate to decide !
Can we have another meet in the next week please?! I want to try a Blueflame zorst and some wilwoods :?
dont think of it as modifying mate....all ur doin is upgrading/uprating.
think about it.homolgomation rally car...single pot sliding calipers????
err think they were the first things renaultsport binned when they took it into its natural habitat..the track/stage
along with the shocks n springs.
trust me....theres quite a lot u can finish off on ur car, where reno had to cut corners and soften it up for the public market.
Ok, I've been sold on the brakes. But I draw the line at coilovers
....though I wouldn't mind a ride in yours just to check them out
u comin to oulton??
