Came to fit my braided brake lines today, and the unions on the fronts are that tight no amount of plus gas wil shift them infact i've partia;lly rounded the nut off

Now i seem to remember i can chop the line, and re-fit new unions to the end of the copper pipe, but i don't have access to a brake line flairing tool, so i need abodge i can do without the tool

I don't think there much of a bodge that you can do.

I'd just go buy the kit there not much money.

Cheers, ended up leaving teh rubberhoses on the front of the car, local motor factors had sold out, and next nearest place was 12 miles away....a long way if you have no transport.

Will get the tool and do it another day

£30 for the kit Draper do, and it looks like its gonna be a bitch doing it on the car, have a clamping section, and then a part that screws down inot the line
