View Full Version : What do you keep under the front seats?
Just wondering? In the 2 rectangular space under the chairs.
Mine's got extinguisher, pliers, cable ties and bunch of old receipts. Use to have a Zapco power amp (before it blew) as well as a box of charcoal (to rid the car of odour).
BTW, any idea if I can fit a small subwoofer or 2 under there? Sony used to make a rectangular-shaped powered-sub that would have been perfect there, but I can't find it anymore (not even on ebay).

Nothing, havwen't really got much clearence to the bottem of the seats, and last time i put my maglite under there, one lot of heavy braking and it was in teh footwell, my stuff goes either on the passenger seat/passenger footwell/behind the seats.
Think i've got a coat, a splitter, can or deoderant, 3 packs of fags, screen cleaner, oily rag and phone charger floating around my car atm, althoguh it will ALL come out for donny, lol

After last check a wheelbrace, some sellotape, a reciept from halfords, jump leads, a paintbrush and a cloth.
need a maglite ideally under there too.
Usualy a flashlight, Haynes manual and a cd wallet.
The only sub that might fit uner there is sth like this ->

when i cleaned the micra out from previous owner, i found:
mmc card adaptor
£1 bag of 2p's
a spark plug
a fuse holder
a 'turbo' badge lol

Pass: Telescopic wheel brace, road atlas, a-z
screw driver, hammer, towel, empty bag of skunk... and half empty/full bottle of fresh orange (that#s not really that fresh anymore... in fact drinking it would almost certainly result in aids)

I am convinced one of my USB flash drive - which got lost months ago - is buried in there somewhere. My fire extinguisher is so deep under the junk, it'd better be a very slow burn - if I do need to use it (knock on wood). :)
A load of deoderant cans (no idea why) under drivers side.
Passenger side has the cd changed.
In the Williams though theres only one seat and under thats err nothing but a few bolts from the cage.

towel is the best thing to have in your car in winter, I used to have aircon remember... this is far faster than waiting 20 fookin minutes before i can see shit...
Matt, Doug's car was worse than Sy's... which had t-bags and mouldy Mac D's shit ALL OVER the floor... Dougs was that bad it encroached onto the seat and left a rather rancid smell wherever he went... fukkin disgusting, even for a company car...

Under passenger side I got my CD changer and under drivers side i've got a hammer, ratchet and a 2 foot breaker bar. Need the breaker bar to get my wheels off, and it also doubles as a handy club.

They probably would but I dont want em rattling about in the boot it does my head in. They're wedged in pretty well anyway, when I brake really hard they dont come out from under the seat at all.
