If i were to get some springs I'd go for custom,
so it doesn't lower more than 20mm

Race bread suspsion set-up that are smaller and lighter than normal shocks and springs, also have the advanatage of being height adjustable, very useful when racing for corner weighting a car.

Also i believe they give you better handling then a springs and shock set up

stock suspension is absolutely fantastic, wide track and well composed over any and all surfaces... tbh AVO coilovers are better tho, you can adjust them to the same setup as std but with more and better damping etc etc. I recommend these after driving 2 lives car, only thing I would say is it would be worth paying that man to set it up like his car, all honesty it's pretty much perfect... Gaz coilovers I would avoid like VD tho...

who set up the suspension on his car? are avo's only height adjustable or damper too?

where's the cheapest place for avo's too!?

Jason

Hight and damper adj
See http://www.avouk.com/pm/4

I can't help on getting them cheap... I live in Greece :(
But do tell me what's the best price so I can order
when the time comes :D

Try a compnay called motorsport world, based in Scotland, always found them to be cheapest around for suspension.

Website is www.motorsportworld.com (or .co.uk)

i had AVO coilovers and now run std shockers(new) with uprated springs (200lb-std height), prefer the non-coilover set up tbh

the only big advantage of coilovers is having the ability to adjust height and damping, and making ya wallet lighter lol!!!

lol^^^^^^^^^^^^

i set mine up after spending about 3 months jus pissin about with em. it takes time to get em how YOU want em, altho i havent even started on swapping the springs for diff poundages etc ................yet.

but then when/if i do....i can console myself with the fact the springs are cheapy cheap...when compared against the uprated springs for stock shox.

so the initial extra outlay.....can save u £££££££s in the long run.

and i must say.....mine does handle very nicely now, even on the bumpy stuff......feels a lot more stable at speed than the oe set up..and lets face it..my car seems to spend more time at speed than slowly hehe
