this is a extremly rare chance to see the colour the car was painted lol last time it looked like this was when i bought it!! :D

cheers lads, have to say if i had to do that on me own id give up at finding the hose pmsl! thats why its normally black!

and no gaz im trying to keep it clean for this month! lol big task he!

im not sure what the names of products was ILL MOVES, steve knows what they are!

Products used.

Zymol car shampoo ( available at halfrauds)
Stage 2 Sonus Polish ( imported from USA) applied by PC
Meguiars NXT wax (applied thinly and left for 25 mins to cure) Applied by PC
P21S cocours wax (imported from usa but UK available as P100S from Harley davidson dealers)

Took about 3 hours in total including the 25 mins cure time.

car look unreal, paint looks like showroom condition, but as said above i would lose the flaps if it was mine,if u like em thats all that matters. where can i buy 1 of these pc thingys from?

What is wrong with having a clean well maintained car??? Anybody can get one dirty not many can get a true mirror finish in paint!

Yes i can drive on muddy roads and through forest stages, what im saying is that you can get the car dirty but what is wrong in taking in pride in your clean an well maintained car that you seem so against??

u have to remember steve u cannot break the rules, cars must be 100% std except for exhaust system/cams/air filter, also can only drive on tarmac and not mucky the car! except u cant clean it either! nazi ocupation me thinks :wink:

very sorry steve, missed this thread for a few days :roll:

I just prefer to do other more interesting stuff than clean my car, like go out wiht my mates, drinking, driving, working, uni work etc etc, i barley have time to fix my car when it goes wrong and mod the odd thing, let alone clean it

I think what he means to say Steve, is that if he had an £17,000 FRS he'd be much more willing to keep it clean and tidy, and that cleaning his £1000 RSi is simply a little lower down on his list of priorities at this point in his life.

But he understands why you like to keep it clean, and respects your grand efforts.
