hi there.
i have one on mine, it's not like a K&N which draws hot air in from the engine bay. mine came with one on but the cheapest I've found is here
http://www.balancemotorsport.co.uk/pp/Air_Filters/Performance_Filter_Kits/Carbon_Dynamic_Airbox_(CDA)_-_Performance_Air_Filter_-_CLIO_1.8_16V.html

motorsport world sell it cheaper but when you add delivery in it's less with the link above.

Think I was the first to fit one of these over 3 years ago. Had to repalce the K&N it came with. Got throttle body adaptor fabricated with oval inlet to match throttle body, sfs hose angled to fit and bmc wedged between battery facing backwards with battery pushed as far forward as possible to fit.

Have been running like that with standard BMC cold air feed running down back of engine bay then pointing forward. This I am going to replace with scoop attached to bumper and hose from Demon Tweeks when I get round to it.

Although this option seems to offer more direct input toward grill but perhaps a scoop and hose fitement will supply more/better airflow.

matt could you not get yours to face forward like on that pic?

I don't think it would. Think we tried every possible place with the recommended CDA for a Valver. This one could be smaller. Would need to measure. At least it wedges in nicely where it is.

Know when Nick Read fitted his it was of a BMW Z3 or something. Mine is fine how it is and get 148bhp at wheels with that, Magnex inc Decat and BB Chip. Although probably more since I have a supersprint manifold on now but not RR'd it since. And it gets even more throaty with the manifold.

If I sort out cold feed and scoop to bumper it may be a cooler feed and improve things but it has never been a problem before, which is why I have left as is. Even cleaned the filter earlier in years and hardly any dirt at all. Really recommend these kits.

Was a picture on cliosport years ago and did have one on pc but that is now gone.
