hi all, I just came across this site.
I am looking for some speakers & an amp for this car & have found on ebay, never bought ice before, but figured I need something good for this car!.

if ya want a decent sub, get a sony xplod one. there £50 brand new. i had one on a motorworld 350w amp and that was quality.

they just sound crap though cheap and nasty.can get a dls sub for bout 60 quid well worth the extra money over a sony

i can vouch for sony being crap! i got rid of my kenny stuff and got some cheap sony ICE of my mate! big mistake!!!!! so went back to kenwood! cant fault kenwood!

You'll find most people on here either keep the cars standard or improve them for performance....

Amps + subs = weight = bad, lol

waw, thanks for the replies, I am not the boy racer type, so I am not wanting anything too much, my wife will be using it mainly.

Just I always seem to have a tinny horrible stero in every car I get, I am a sick of it, you know the sound tick tick tick tick tick tick!!!!!
want a little more boom boom boom.

Anyway, my budget is 200 quid or so.

By the way I picked this car up for 1750GBP, & I am making him put a 12 month ticket on it for me too. Think by the looks of it I got a bargain.

ok, guys, you seem like you are more into the cars for the mods & speed, so
tell me whats the first thing to do in terms of modifying a williams 2 engine, for more performance? my car is totally standard at moment.

decat and sports exhaust for power.

sounds, williams 3 door cards (have speakers built in) full replacement of the standard speakers, amp and 12" sub will have a great sound for not much more than £150.

i spent £800 on mine, focal fronts £240. audison amp £250, infinity kappa 6x9 in stealth shelf, vibe 10" active sub, streetwise cable. sounds really good but then so its should, oh and sony headunit, and come to think of it it was more like £1100!!! :shock:

If you are interested in a sub I have a 12" JBL comp sub sitting around at home doing nothing. Its a mean piece of kit, 4 of them were used in the JBL comp car years back, but i could never afford an amp to run it properly - would have killed me anyway. let me know if you are interested, could let it go for a bargain, its just boxed up at home waiting to be used - another one to your list :wink:

I have some random amp, and some £150 Pioneer 6x9's in mine. got the amp for free of a mate and the quality is much better than without I must admit. not really into my stereo's in cars, but have a Pioneer MP3/WMA HU too and that's the dogs (well, to me it is, I wont need anything else!)
