Just got my engine running woooooohoooo.........

BUT... oil pressure is reading "0" which to me sounds more like a sensor/gauge sensor problem than having no oil pressure, as oil light goes straight out, and there is plenty of oil around the head/cams etc...

any suggestions on what to try... i have ordered a new gauge, but any areas/sensors i should double check are in and working.. pics/descriptions of where to look would also be helpful.

Thank You!

p.s. just had a full rebuild, so it could be likely that something may not be "plugged in"

the oil sensor gauge is located in the same area as your exhaust manifold.

the sensor is expensive if broken but as u say its probally a loose wire.

the best way to acsess the sensor is to remove the drivers front wheel, and look through the arch up towards the exhaust manifold and feel for the wire / sensor. also look from the top to find it.

if u have a haynes manual it will tell you in there.

ok mate, its probably a lose wire then as i was doing a lot of fiddling around there to get the starter motor on, so probably knocked it.
