Alreet fello clio members.

On my new valver i have a de-cat pipe, but i have been told i need the cat on it to pass its MOT which is due in November.
Are these easy to take on and off and what do i do when it comes to the MOT? Also, having it on, does that restrict the engine power?

Thanks

GAV

4 bolts to remove and swap it over. (new gaskets will be needed)

a cat does restrict engine power, a decat is like loosing a passenger

best thing to do mate is soak ur bolts in WD40 a few days before ur gonna take em off, usually makes it alot easier, then copper grease them when u stick ur cat and ur decat bak on!!!

Gaskets are a pile of crap........exhaust putty around the sealing edges works 100x better

remember the nuts are 1/2 inch if you use a 13mm there is a great chance you will round them off, use lots of wd40 as they do get very hot and the bolts snap.
