Hello everyone

I have owned a blue phase 1 Clio 16v for the past 5 years and only just discovered this site. Seems like a nice vibe on here.

Will be looking at 2L power next year once the rusty rear arches, key marks and body work is generally sorted out. Just had a new gearbox(pick the car back up tomorrow), which makes the engine near enough the only thing that hasn't been replaced!

Cheers

James

Cheers.

Will have to get a picture of my car for my avatar once I get it back.

Hopefully the rear arches won't show up!

5 years is a long time, only just bought a pc though.

Hopefully be able to make the meets, if something else on the car doesn't break!

I dread to think how much I've spent on it, just replacing the standard parts.

So far this year I've replaced, gearbox, brake master cylinder, front pads, heater matrix, lower ball joints, track rod ends, rocker cover gasket, plus the usual servicing items.

Yeah, I did replace the matrix myself.

Main tip is to be patient and remember where everything goes. You don't have to take the dash fully out, you just need to be able to move it forward enough to get to the matrix housing.

Good luck.
