i have recently bought an origin B2, just had a little fiddle with it... it needs updating, registering etc etc. Just out of interest, for those that have them... is it possible for the "Speed Limit" to be displayed at the same time as the speedo - as when its in "non alert mode" all it displays is the speed im going...
thanks in advance for help.

Unfortunalty not. I asked this to origin when i first bought the unit.

u only get your current speed displayed on them (small or LARGE), and only when going through a camera / warning do u get the speedlimit.

Here are pictures of my install.

ahh shame... that would be a result, also northy is it possible to change the "range" to which speed cameras are detected, and the warning is displayed?

do you rate the origin b2 over the road angel 2?

yes you can adjust the sensativity, have a look under your menu's.

think from memory i have mine on the largest distance away from the camera.

I bought the B2 a year ago now and its been great, tells you so much more than the road angel...never been in a car with a roada angel two though - so i carnt compair.

Only thing i wish this model had was GPS output which the new B2's have.

I also have hard wired mine in...i could make you a kit up if you wanted to buy one.

Has off cliosport is the man for detectors, selss them alot cheaper than the shops, and hes a proper reseller.

If anyone wants one can arrange to collect it off him, as he goes to the same uni as me, and can deliver it at donnington.

Origan B2 Solo is very good, basicallythe same, btu has the gps built in

Looks a bit high up mate???? Surely when a copper points a laser, thin beam of light, at your car he does it nearer the number plate as this is where the oic is taken of??? needs to be at the bottom of the windscreen does it not?????
