faulty rev counter

rev counters playing up, works ok on start up, then dies, then 15mins later starts working again then sometimes just doesnt work full stop. any ideas and does it mean the dash has to come off to sort it?

nah preety easy 2 do just got to get clocks out unplud rev counter plg new 1 in and put all back 2gether....half hour job max

all ya have to remove is the top dash bit, easy just about 5 or so screws

any ideas how much a new rev counter will cost, take it its a renault only part.

New one was about £160 I think or £10 from Mat Brown.... 8)
