how much u reckon i cud get for me old williams wheels? four, not bent, perfectly straight, paint is in a bad way tho, few scuffs etc, cud do with a refurb no rubber.

no one in there right mind would pay £200 for a set that require a refurb and tyres! well imo anyway, the price of a new set dont come into it, u dont see clio williams at nearly new prices !!! (15k etc)lol

I think your price is about right jamie, they are pretty rare and desirable in good condition, whether or not they need a refurb think how much a brand new set would cost?!

kendo there was a set up for £200 with tyres and didnt require a refurb not that long ago, thats why i said £35 each imo , there is no tyres with jamies and need a refurb really

also if ur lucky u can get a full set of williams wheels b rand fire new for £600ish :wink:

ok matey! I it s a fickle buisness selling stuff whatever it is an item is only worth what someone is willing to pay, would i pay £200.00 for a set of second hand rims! if they were in good nick i may well do considering i could get them refurbed to high standard for another £200.00 saves me £200.00 quid on a set of spankers it would depend on circumstances, I would have to say i think the price is ok not having seen them, if i was buying them id want something off them can we agree on £175.00 and its a deal lol :lol:

brand new refurbed wheels.... i know most ppl will say "why not refrub yours" well, i dont have a spare set of alloys and dont want it sat on bricks... therefore the wheels i will be buying will be around 350 mark and then after ive sold mine for 150 that equals 200 which is the rough cost of a refurb but without pissin abt as i will always have wheels and the car wont be sat on bricks

before you spend anymoney on a refurb.

check that the newer set of wheels (from another car) run true and are not bent, bashed or fractured.

Ive seen wheels sold on ebay that have been write off's but still fetch £30odd quid.

if they are ok - then send them away for refurbing - Freds got the nack of them now mate - and probally your nearest supplier.

i will check tomorro mate, last time i checked it was aboput £600-650 inc vat but that dont include the caps, not sure if discount code will have changed but will check for u

btw had mine refurbed by fred, think was one of the first 3 or 4 sets he did, still look good although i caught the kerb with one :cry:
