And after the best part of a day, the transformation is complete! no longer is my beloved wreck a williams wanabee, its back to its true self once more!

whipped off the ludacrous gold wolfrace 17's (just out of interest neone want some lovely gold wolfrace 17's for the're willy look alike........... :D ) and its back to an 80 quid set of standard silver 15's from ebay!, lost the gold trim bits n all so the bonnet vent and front grill bit are silver to match now. managed to royally knacker my 16v badges from the door bump strips tho, tried to de-gold em and stripped everythin so all i got is grey plastic half melted! wounded! neone got spare silver 16v badges for a phase 2 for me?!!!haha! and finally removed blue colour coded rear light clusters and again replaced with standard items so its lookin beautifully understated again now! and feels a damn sight faster too boot!

got rid of me knackered pipercross n all, crap in hot weather, n put original box on with crap panel filter, k & n one on the way....or any better ones i shud know about?!

so its been a busy day but in my opinion well worth it, all i gotta do now is save up to get the alloys properly refurbished! :(

First job, whip off the 17's n strip out the kippered pipercross

then refit new airox and remove gold colour coded parts to respray silver!

slap on the slighty ropy 15's that i need to refurb asap but least they dont scrub and bounce all over the shop like those damn 17's!!!

lookin better, but colour coded parts need adding to the front end to sort out the gaping holes! so its spray paint n time!!!

finally finished....and its bloody dark so cant even inspect the fruits of me labours properly!

will slap another cupla picks of back n all on tomos when its light, i got rid of silly trim above exhaust n put standard smoked light clusters on the rear!

So thats been my day today! quite a change, n i love it already, much more understated n smooth!

they look ok in pics fella, but up close they are pretty disgraceful to be honest, only cost me 80 quid tho so musnt grumble, wit tyres n all!sweet!

does look sweeter now tho dont it! much better, love it when a plan comes together, i liked the williams attempt the last guy did but it was bit too much for me!

sure did fella, slapped originals back on, much tidier, IMO renault got it nearly spot on wit valvers neway, no need for meer humans to meddle!

cars looks nice and low :D

looks loads better on the phs 2's.

IMO you should have the grill the same colour as the car but maybe when you get some clearer pics up i'll cange my mind ...

i know i was in 2 minds about it but kinda liked the way it looked, or least the idea of the colour codin when it was gold! so thought i'd keep it, but silver! gonna t cut it tomos n then more pics!
