the winners name doesnt help lol!

just shows that advertising properly on ebay gets u a lot more money! what a crap advert. if they had put renault F7R it would have doubled in price i bet!!

oh well plenty more engines in the sea, ill just have to keep my peering eyes open!!!

can you not use the megane head, inlet and exhaust in the clio, anyone know?

also does it not matter what year the engine is as i heard some won't fit in the clio?

i worked myself up, as no one had bid on it until 5 mins before, i planned how to pick it up and everything....lol....oh well!

Not a bargain as from Infinicar. Think I was the highest bidder on this at 380 quid last time just for engine and that did not meet reserve.

Basically the culture from Cliosport has been for a few suspects to offer 2.0 engines because of demand at exorberent prices. Fair enough people are prepared to pay but it is silly money. Other sources like free ads and even ebay has shown these engines go for 200-350 quid without specialist buyer interest. Anything more is usually down to people thinking the going rate is x amount because that is what they are offered for on specialist websites.

And now it just seems that these people are the ones getting them at 200 odd and then selling them on for 4 times that if they can. Fair play to them for that as it makes them money and shows initiative but it is this and the idiots who pay over the odds that inflates the market price superficially.
